Mondays were my least favorite day of the week for a long time until I decided to restructure my week.

Here are a few ways you can do this for yourself:

  • Don't book any calls or appointments. Free yourself from noise.
  • Kick your day into gear earlier, from 6-7 am. An early start is an excellent way to ease into the day.
  • Create a Monday routine; maybe you go to your favorite breakfast place or coffee shop.
  • Instead of taking Fridays off, take a Monday off. (I've done this a handful of times, it's an excellent way to switch it up).
  • All forms of self-care. [exercise, pampering, etc.].

I realize that most people dread Mondays because they have to get back to the grind; having a "case of the Mondays" is a real issue. Whether you own your business or have a job you go to, it's never the most exciting day of the week. I believe that people do this to themselves, and it's a self-inflicting pattern that a vast majority of people get into. You can fix this by building better habits.

Why people fail to have a less stressful Monday:

  • The preset notion is that: Mondays are the worst days.
  • There is no fun activities or exercise incorporated into a Monday.
  • Mondays are full of stress and anxiety because there is a "long week ahead."

It's possible to overcome these obstacles and improve your overall week by switching up your mentality.

Give Monday a break, Friday's don't have to get all credit. 😂
